A man believed to be in his 30s was shot to death in a downtown parking lot early Monday morning, officials say.

The Denver Coroner’s office said Wardell Robinson, of Kansas, died of multiple gunshot wounds at 2 a.m. Monday in a parking lot at 1614 Pearl St.

“We don’t have any suspects at this time,” said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.

The shooting happened close to a 7-Eleven, which is normally busy at that hour, Jackson said, adding they are hoping that witnesses may come forward with information.
