AMARILLO, Texas—Thirteen former workers who pleaded guilty to charges stemming from an immigration raid at a Swift & Co. meatpacking plant have been sentenced, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

All received sentences ranging from six months to a year.

The workers were accused of using fraudulently obtained identity documents that showed they were U.S. citizens in order to get jobs at Swift & Co. in Cactus, about 65 miles north of Amarillo.

Another worker was sentenced to eight months for falsely representing a Social Security number as belonging to him in order to get a job at Swift.

All but four of the 53 people charged in the Northern District of Texas have been sentenced. Those remaining are scheduled for sentencing later this month.

No charges were filed against Swift, a Greeley, Colo., company that bills itself as the world’s second-largest beef and pork processor. Federal officials raided Swift plants in six states in December, and more than 1,200 immigrant workers were arrested.
