Fido makes a move for the boardroom June 22 when Pedigree, Modern Dog magazine, Pet Sitters International, the World Wide Pet Industry Association (WWPIA) and other pet-friendly agencies endorse “Take Your Dog to Work Day.” WWPIA suggests these do’s and don’ts for toting your pooch to the job: DO get the pet visit approved; DO make sure co-workers will feel safe with animals around; DO clear your work space of hazardous materials and small objects; and DO make sure Fido has everything he needs, including food, water and plastic bags. DON’T include aggressive, shy or loud animals; DON’T leave your pet in the car; DON’T let the animal out of sight; and DON’T force co-workers to interact with your pet. Read more at
