A child-care director at a Highlands Ranch elementary school has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for sexual assault by a person in a position of trust.
Paul Jesse Arriola, 31, was the child care director of the Panther’s Den Child Care program at Eldorado Elementary School when he was accused of assaulting a 9-year-old boy in November 2005, said Deputy Ron Hanavan.
He was fired a month later.
In addition to the jail sentence, Arriola will be required to be on sex-offender monitoring/probation for 20 years to life.
He was sentenced June 4.
