“Bridge to Terabithia”
**1/2 Local charmer Anna-Sophia Robb plays the bold new neighbor who befriends Josh Hutcherson’s sensitive artist in this adaptation of Katherine Peterson’s novel. As Leslie and Jess become fast friends, they create a world called Terabithia. This fantastical territory – just a rope swing across a creek – is firmly influenced by the imaginative duo’s lives on the other side of the stream. Directing his first live-action feature, animation producer Gabor Csupo delivers a film with some touching twists. The finest is a theological debate about Jesus and hell.
