Colorado’s mountain casinos posted a 6.9 percent increase in revenue in May, compared with the same month a year ago, despite having three fewer properties in operation.
The state’s 44 casinos recorded adjusted gross proceeds – which is bets minus payouts – of $70.1 million in May. In May 2006, the state’s 47 casinos posted revenue of $65.6 million, according to data released today by the Colorado Division of Gaming.
