Former first-round draft pick Nikoloz Tskitishvili and late-season call-up Von Wafer highlight the Nuggets’ NBA Summer League roster that will begin a one-week schedule Sunday in Las Vegas.

Tskitishvili was drafted fifth overall by the Nuggets in the 2002 NBA Draft. After two unproductive seasons with Denver, he was traded to Golden State in 2005. Tskitishvili returned to Denver in 2004-05 and played in 23 games, then left again for Golden State.

He most recently played with the Knicks, appearing in three games last season.

Wafer was a standout with the Nuggets’ NBA Development League affiliate Colorado 14ers last season before being called up to Denver’s playoff roster.

The team will complete a mini-camp training session Thursday and Friday, then on Sunday, the Nuggets will face the Clippers at Cox Pavillion, with tip-off at 8 p.m. MDT.

The Nuggets, in games through July 15, face Dallas, Detroit, the Lakers, and New York. All games are in Las Vegas.
