You couldn’t blame Nick Griffin for hiding his hair with a black-knit skull cap this morning. He worked late into the night Thursday entertaining crowds at Comedy Works, where he performs again tonight and Saturday.
That doesn’t mean they let him sleep late.
By 6:30 a.m., Griffin was getting whisked away to a couple of Denver radio stations where he joined morning show DJs to entertain the commuter crowd.
“It’s hard sometimes because the stations are very particular about what you can say,” Griffin said in the reception area outside KOSI 101.1 FM, where he napped briefly while waiting to go on the air. “It’s not always the best way to deliver your routine.”
It’s all part of the business, however, and Griffin was happy to help the club sell more tickets to his shows. Plus, he got to plug his upcoming July 20 appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
