HOUSTON—Midfielder Dwayne De Rosario signed a two-year extension that keeps him under contract with the Houston Dynamo through the 2010 season.

De Rosario will make his second MLS All-Star appearance July 26 in Commerce City, Colo. The 29-year-old was MVP of last year’s game.

De Rosario, who also plays for the Canadian national team, has three goals this season for Houston.

“He is the top midfielder in MLS, period,” team president Oliver Luck. “We’re excited Dwayne is in the fold, and hopeful he is with us the rest of his career.”
