COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A driver died early Monday after he was hit by a bullet fired from another vehicle, police said.
Diontea Jackson-Forrest, 19, was shot shortly after midnight in central Colorado Springs and his vehicle ran off the road, hitting a fence and a tree. An autopsy was planned
Investigators said one other person was in the vehicle with Jackson-Forrest, but no information about the passenger was released.
Jackson-Forrest was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital shortly after 3 a.m.
