The National Golf Coaches Association named Colorado State’s Megan Chapman and Stefanie Ferguson to its Division I All-American Scholar Team, the school said.
Chapman and Ferguson, teammates on the Rams’ women’s golf team, earned the prestigous honor after meeting the requirements of having at least a 3.50 grade point average and competing it at least 50 percent of the teams competitions.
Chapman, who graduated from CSU in May, was a three-year letterman who finished in 11th place at the Mountain West Conference Championship in April. Ferguson, who was a sophomore last season and a two-time letterman, finished in 21st place at the MWC tournament.
