Andy Dorman scored in the 38th minute and Matt Reis made five saves and got help from the goalpost and crossbar as the New England Revolution beat the New York Red Bulls 1-0 for a Major League Soccer victory Saturday night.

The win extended the Revolution’s unbeaten streak against the Red Bulls to six games (5-0-1). New York’s last win over New England was in September 2005.

It was only the second win in seven games (2-2-3) for New England since the Revolution beat expansion FC Toronto on May 26. Dorman, who scored last week in a 1-1 tie, scored his seventh goal by beating Red Bulls goalkeeper Jon Conway with a shot from just inside the penalty area.

FC DALLAS 3, D.C. UNITED 3 at Washington: Juan Toja scored twice to help FC Dallas overcome a three-goal second-half deficit and salvage a MLS tie against D.C. United (7-5-3).

Dallas (9-6-3) had not allowed a goal in its past three matches but overcame a sloppy defensive start to improve to 4-1-2 in its last seven matches. After falling behind 3-0 early in the second half, Carlos Ruiz scored in the 51st minute, and Toja followed with goals in the 71st and 81st minutes.

WIZARDS 1, REAL SALT LAKE 0 at Kansas City, Mo.: Eddie Johnson returned from international tournaments and scored in his third straight MLS game and Kansas City moved into second place in the Eastern Conference.

His goal in the 19th minute provided the Wizards (7-5-4) with their first victory since he was last in the lineup seven games ago.

Real Salt Lake (1-8-6) remained in last place in the West.

Copa America: Mexico rallied to beat Uruguay 3-1 to take third place in the tournament in Caracas, Venezuela.

With Uruguay leading 1-0, captain Diego Lugano was issued a red card in the 38th minute for elbowing Gerardo Torrado. Cuauhtemoc Blanco converted the penalty to tie the game, and Omar Bravo and Andres Guardado added second-half goals for Mexico.

Argentina and defending champion Brazil square off in the tournament final today in Maracaibo.

Exhibition: Carli Lloyd scored on a diving header in the 66th minute to lift the U.S. national women’s team to a 1-0 win over Norway in an exhibition game in East Hartford, Conn.

FIFA: The United States was eliminated from the FIFA under-20 World Cup with a 2-1 overtime loss to Austria in the quarterfinals as Erwin Hoffer scored the go-ahead goal in the 105th minute, just two minutes after he entered the game in Toronto.

Josmer Altidore of the New York Red Bulls put the United States ahead in the 15th minute with his fourth goal of the tournament, scoring on a glancing downward header off a Freddy Adu cross.
