Two people, described by neighbors as youths in their late teens, were shot late tonight near the intersection of Fillmore Street and East 45th Avenue.
The victims appeared to have been shot each in the leg, witnesses said. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police were on scene with crime lab technicians.
Neighbors said they heard at least seven shots fired and at least two young men, one wearing a red shirt, running from the scene. It appeared the shooters fired at a house where the victims were.
