GOLDEN, Colo.—Two teenagers and a man died when their SUV rolled over while they were off-roading across an open space field in a restricted area off Colorado 93.

The 1988 Toyota 4-Runner was traveling through tall grassy terrain when the vehicle hit a gully that was obstructed from the driver’s view and vaulted within the gully, Colorado State Patrol Trooper Gilbert Mares said in a statement.

All three killed were from Golden. The State Patrolidentifiedd the victims as: Stephen L. Sweet, 20, and Jacob Payte, 18. The identity of a 15 year old boy was being withheld.

Investigators were trying to determine if alcohol, drugs and speed were factors.
