After wiping her fried chicken-grease-covered hands on a $274 dress and picking up her puppy’s poop with a $6,700 Zac Posen gown, Britney Spears shocked OK! magazine staffers at her photo shoot last week by storming out with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, the New York Post reported.
Spears allegedly fled the shoot wearing $12,861 worth of jewelry, a $974 Vera Wang dress, $380 Lanvin heels and a $281 Pucci scarf. When the clothes she ruined are added, the total came to $21,267.
Spears “wandered around babbling like a baby,” according to a post on .
According to insiders, Spears was asking for $1 million, as well as control of photos and editorial content. But because the shoot was canceled, OK! paid her nothing. Reps for the magazine had no comment.
Brian May is completing his doctorate in astrophysics, more than 30 years after he abandoned his studies to form the rock group Queen. The 60-year-old guitarist and songwriter said he plans to submit his thesis, “Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud,” to supervisors at Imperial College London within the next two weeks.
May was an astrophysics student when Queen, which included Freddie Mercury and Roger Taylor, formed in 1970. He dropped his doctorate as the glam rock band became successful.
May told the British Broadcasting Corp. that he had always wanted to complete his degree. “It was unfinished business,” he said. “I didn’t want an honorary Ph.D. I wanted the real thing that I worked for.”

Police found cocaine in one of Lohan’s pockets during a pre-booking search, Sgt. Shane Talbot said.
