Tyler Rackley will be a junior this fall at Cherry Creek High School.
Tyler has volunteered at Koelbel Public Library in Centennial since sixth grade, performing a range of services, including tutoring senior citizens in computer skills, serving on the library’s Teen Advisory Board and writing for the library’s online teen newsletter, Digital Inkling.
Tyler is an expert skier, having first hit the slopes at 3 years old.
At Cherry Creek High School, Tyler has taken honors classes and plays lacrosse. He is active in debate, the creative writing club and Future Business Leaders of America. He works in the family business and frequently babysits his younger siblings.
In November, Tyler traveled to Mexico to help build houses for needy families.
He has received academic awards in English and has a 4.43 weighted grade-point average. He was voted “most improved” by his junior varsity lacrosse teammates.
Tyler plans to go to college out of state and then attend law school.
