The Larimer County District Attorney’s office issued an arrest warrant for Colorado State basketball signee Stephen Franklin on one count of identity theft, a Class 4 felony, and one count of theft under $500, a Class 2 misdemeanor.
Bond was set at $5,000, but as of early Wednesday afternoon, Franklin had not turned himself in.
Details of the allegations were not available from the district court office.
Franklin earned all-state honors as a guard/forward after leading Aurora Central to the Class 5A state title game. CSU coach Tim Miles has said he wants to gather all the facts before making a decision on Franklin’s future with the program.
