
Fort Collins police arrested a 24-year-old man this morning on suspicion of having killed a 19-year-old man around 3 a.m. today.
Police were called around 3:30 a.m. to a residence in the 1000 block of Ponderosa Street, where they found a man with knife wounds lying on the ground outside the house.
He was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Joseph Michael Martel, 19, of Fort Collins.
Around 8:30 this morning, police received a tip that a suspect could be found in a house in the 3400 block of Warren Farm Drive. There, they arrested Adrian Danelle Allen, 24, of Fort Collins, on allegations he killed Martel. He was taken to the Larimer County Detention Facility, where he will be held until formally charged this week.
