Key practice dates — Scrimmages are scheduled for every Saturday. Practices are open to the public, with best access through the academy’s north gate. Air Force’s Aug. 7 will begin at 2:45 p.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. to accommodate an academy student function. Calhoun also announced he will have two practices Aug. 8 instead of one. The starting times are 8:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Falcons begin their normal fall practice routine Aug. 9 when classes begin. Practice time is 4 p.m.
