DENVER—Coloradoans looking for relief from the heat are going to head to the mountains, and even there temperatures will be in the 80s.
Along the Front Range temperatures will be in the high 90s next week, and could set records. On the Western Slope they will generally be in the low 90s.
Some areas that have lifted bans on outside fires may have to reconsider.
Despite the recent wet spell, the summer’s hot weather has resulted in increased demand on Colorado cities’ water supplies.
