UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO AT BOULDER: Professor Manuel Laguna has been named associate dean of faculty for the Leeds School of Business. Laguna is professor of operations management at the school.
CENTURA HEALTH: Announced that Peter Makowski will join the organization as chief executive of St. Anthony Central Hospital in late September. Makowski currently is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
THE ART INSTITUTE OF COLORADO: Named Wendy Barboza as director of administrative and finance services. She replaces Steve Mansdoerfer, who was promoted to vice president of finance for EDMC Green House, which opens new schools for EDMC throughout North America.
