At more than a million acres, the Bob Marshall Wilderness northwest of Great Falls, Mont., is among the nation’s largest wild areas, with vaulting peaks and splendid forests. Naturally, the fishing isn’t bad, either.
Wandering angler Tom Piccirilli will describe the wonders of South Fork of the Flathead River at his 7:30 p.m. talk to the West Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited on Sept. 5. The program begins with a 6:30 fly-tying demo at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, West Sixth Avenue at Indiana Street.
