DENVER—Crime is down in Denver by eleven-point-four percent and the rate drop is across the board.
The Rocky Mountain News says Denver police released statistics for last year Friday.
Crimes against persons were down even more—13-point-three percent. Property crimes also were down more than 13 percent.
Violent crimes against persons were down 12-point-nine percent.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said better communication between departments and having more officers on the street has helped.
He said it is impossible to predict whether the downward trend will continue.
