ESoft Inc., a Broomfield- based vendor of security software products, announced a distribution agreement with C-MI Labs PLC Distribution, a United Kingdom-based distributor. C-MI Labs will distribute eSoft’s line of InstaGate, UTM firewalls and ThreatWallEmail Security and Web Security gateways across the U.K.

Advanced Energy Industries Inc. of Fort Collins, announced it is extending its portfolio of solar offerings with the new Solaron line of photovoltaic inverters. The inverter technology converts direct-current (DC) power from commercial solar-cell arrays to alternating-current (AC) grid electricity for transmission.

Chevron Energy Solutions announced the completion of a project for the state of Colorado that significantly improves the energy efficiency of several facilities across the state. The upgrades to 20 state buildings are expected to reduce energy costs at the facilities by 25 percent to 30 percent, saving state taxpayers $924,000 annually.

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon has retained Heedum Agency for public-relations and marketing counsel. The resort is expected to open next summer.
