COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—In an Aug. 19 story about misconduct allegations involving taekwondo athletes, The Associated Press misstated the reasons that Mandy Meloon, a five-time national champion, was cut from the USA Taekwondo national team in April.
Meloon was cut because she stopped training and had posted statements about the team on a Web site in violation of the team’s code of conduct—not because she had complained of sexual harassment.
