Worthwhile way to spend a day
It’s the sort of thing you’d expect from a proud grandfather.
“With all the bad news today about kids, drugs and shootings, this is certainly evidence that there are more healthy ways to enjoy life,” Highlands Ranch resident James Toepfer wrote of his grandson Will Dykstra, a senior at the University of Northern Colorado, while sending photographic proof in the form of several giant muskellunge.
Dykstra and four friends fished Canada’s sprawling Lake of the Woods without a guide, further proof of their angling dedication. Toepfer was willing to concede his grandson is not completely without flaw.
“He is a Raiders fan.”
