Membership has its privileges, and for those who are part of the recently reactivated Denver Public Library Friends Foundation one of the best perks is getting first dibs on the 100,000 volumes that were sold last weekend at the DPL’s Used Book Sale. Guests at Friday night’s preview party included City Auditor Dennis Gallagher; developer Mickey Zeppelin; and such Friends Foundation board members as Ann Kirchhof, Ellen Anderman and Jay Mead.
