FIRSTIER BANK: Named Chic Hall market president of its newest location in Boulder, scheduled to open this summer at 2100 Broadway. Prior to joining FirsTier Bank, Hall was vice president for IndyMac Bank in Boulder County.

FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF COLORADO: Hired John W. Burke as vice president, corporate banking. Burke was formerly a vice president at Bank of the West in Denver.

COLORADO RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION: Honored Dale Katechis, founder of Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons, with the association’s Cornerstone Humanitarian Award.

ST. MARY LAND & EXPLORATION CO.: Announced that Robert Nance, senior vice president and president and chief executive of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Nance Petroleum Corp., will retire in the first quarter of 2008. St. Mary also announced that Mark Mueller will join in September as senior vice president and will succeed Nance as regional manager of the Rocky Mountain region.
