YOU’LL BE FLOORED: The World Floor Covering Association, a trade group that represents flooring retailers, contractors and service providers, has bumped up its online presence to include an Internet Design Center that allows consumers to learn about various types of flooring including carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic, porcelain, resilient, vinyl, cork, stone and area rugs. THINK PINK: The Denver Botanic Gardens is one of only three locations in the world displaying a new species of waterlily specifically developed to promote breast cancer awareness. Water Gardeners International created and named the Nymphaea “Pink Ribbon,” which has been placed in the Gardens’ Monet Horseshoe Pool. The remaining two water lilies are on display at botanical gardens in New York and Oklahoma. “This is one of the most important acquisitions we have made this year,” Joe Tomocik, aquatic collection, said in a prepared statement. “It’s truly a beautiful flower.”
