DENVER—Safety Steve Cargile is among eight players signed Sunday to the Denver Broncos practice squad.

Cargile, a three-year veteran, played in three games last year and recorded four special teams tackles.

Others signed to the practice squad were: second-year center Greg Eslinger, who earned All-NFL Europa honors with the Cologne Centurions earlier this year; rookie guard Mark Fenton, who played for Colorado and entered the league as a free agent; rookie quarterback Darrell Hackney, who played at Alabama Birmingham; rookie defensive tackle Steven Harris, who played at Florida; second-year wide receiver Glenn Martinez; rookie safety Roderick Rogers out of Wisconsin; and rookie tackle Cliff Washburn from The Citadel.
