Stay calm. Remember, it has been just one week. If you have any faith in your drafting abilities, sit tight and see how things shake out. If you never know who to draft and just got rocked by the guy in the mailroom, it might not be a bad time to begin formulating a plan.
So what did we really learn after one week? Most of the familiar faces produced, as expected, although several regular studs didn’t show up. Relax, it won’t last. However, if you drafted, say, Browns QB Charlie Frye as a backup, then perhaps you should look for help with Washington’s Jason Campbell, Jacksonville’s David Garrard or – gulp – Josh McCown from Oakland. In the workhorse department, we learned that rookies Adrian Peterson (Vikings) and Marshawn Lynch (Bills) weren’t just benefiting from preseason defenses and Warrick Dunn (Falcons) and LaMont Jordan (Raiders) are still going to get lots of touches in and out of the backfield.
