FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Colorado State University says it has enrolled a record number of freshmen this semester.
The university said Wednesday that 4,392 signed up for the freshman class.
That beat the old record, set last year, by nearly 300.
The number of in-state freshmen grew 5.7 percent and the number of out-of-state freshmen grew 13.5 percent.
Overall enrollment is just under 25,000, up 1.3 percent from last fall.
