PHILADELPHIA—Colorado Rockies bench coach Jamie Quirk served a one-game suspension against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night for his actions in a game two days earlier.

Quirk engaged in an animated argument with plate umpire Mike DiMuro after a called third strike on Todd Helton, and was ejected in the ninth inning of an 8-2 victory over the Phillies on Tuesday night. Rockies manager Clint Hurdle intervened and was tossed by crew chief John Hirschbeck.
