A former employee of Great- West Life and Annuity Insurance Co. was charged Wednesday with wiring $819,000 in funds from the company into her and her boyfriend’s personal accounts.
Hillary Shaffer of Parker was employed by Great-West in Greenwood Village from January 2002 until July 2005.
Shaffer secretly obtained and used the computer password of a co-worker, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court.
Shaffer has pleaded not guilty to wire fraud and was released on bond.
