Getting your player ready...
Colorado Trout Unlimited on Saturday launched its fourth annual Great Colorado Rivers Cleanup, a project that will continue Sept. 29 and Oct. 13.
Volunteers from 16 chapters will scour rivers across the state to remove trash and debris as a way to maintain their health and esthetics. Activities are scheduled on the following streams: Animas, Arkansas, Bear Creek, Big Thompson, Blue, Boulder Creek, Cache la Poudre, Clear Creek, Colorado, Roaring Fork, South Platte and St. Vrain. Denver-area chapters Saturday converged on Clear Creek in the Idaho Springs area and on Sept. 29 will work on the South Platte through downtown Denver. Community volunteers may participate by contacting Elbert Bivins at 303-960-6709.
