Rev. Charles Reeder announced today the formation of a new Broomfield-based Anglican church called Holy Spirit Church.

Reeder recently announced he was leaving the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church and Diocese of Denver because of disagreement over orthodoxy, which he termed “faithfulness to Christ.” Reeder and members of his new congregation will be members of the Anglican Mission in the Americas, which is part of the Episcopal Province of Rwanda.

A permanent location for the church has not been found; however, worship services will commence 9 a.m. Oct. 7 at the Ignite Youth Center, 5450 W. 120th Ave. in Broomfield.
