3. (3.) Dallas: The Cowboys’ offense is the real deal.
4. (7.) Pittsburgh: Ben Roethlisberger’s horrible 2006 is behind him.
5. (16.) Green Bay: Packers may not be great but their story is.
6. (9.) Seattle: May play a lot of close games this season.
7. (11.) Baltimore: Will have to hang on late a lot this season.
8. (12.) Jacksonville: The Jaguars are not flashy, but they are tough.
9. (17.) Washington: Not special, but might stick around.
10. (18.) Tennessee: LenDale White is running hard.
11. (23.) Tampa Bay: Starting to play with some swagger.
12. (4.) Denver: Not bad, not great, but could fall to .500
13. (6.) San Francisco: 49ers are glad they are in the NFC.
14. (14.) Detroit: Nice defense, Rod Marinelli.
15. (15.) Houston: Texans were game but not good enough against Colts.
16. (20.) Carolina: Not pretty, but Panthers keeping pace in the NFC South.
17. (5.) San Diego: Inexcusable.
18. (8.) Chicago: If defense fails, the Bears will have no chance.
19. (10.) Cincinnati: All this talent and just one win.
20. (13.) Arizona: Ken Whisenhunt shouldn’t mess with Matt Leinart.
21. (22.) New York Jets: It wasn’t easy, but the Jets found a way to win.
22. (24.) Philadelphia: Don’t count out the Eagles just yet.
23. (28.) New York Giants: Give Eli Manning credit. The guy is playing well.
24. (29.) Kansas City: This team still is horrible.
25. (32.) Oakland: Who says this isn’t a copycat league?
26. (21.) Cleveland: The Browns at least are fighting.
27. (27.) Minnesota: Just keep giving the ball to Adrian Peterson.
28. (19.) New Orleans: Same coach, same team, but where’s the magic?
29. (25.) St. Louis: May not get better anytime soon.
30. (26.) Buffalo: It just keeps getting worse for the Bills.
31. (30.) Miami: The Dolphins will be lucky to beat the Raiders on Sunday.
32. (31.) Atlanta: Welcome home, Falcons.

San Diego Chargers
This is ridiculous. There is no way this squad should be 1-2. The Chargers still are one of the most talented teams in the league, but they aren’t running the ball, and there is some in-fighting starting to develop. Many thought Norv Turner was the wrong man for the head coaching job, and nearly one-fourth through the season, that seems to be true.
