Georgetown – An 8-month-old girl was airlifted with severe injuries to Children’s Hospital Sunday night after she was ejected from a car, the Colorado State Patrol said.

The girl was not properly restrained in a car-seat when about 7:49 p.m. the Ford Escort she was traveling east rolled on Interstate 70, trooper Ryan Sullivan said.

Her condition at the hospital was not immediately released.

No one else in the car was seriously injured, Sullivan said.
