The National Weather Service is forecasting heavy snow and strong winds in the mountains Saturday night into Sunday. Blowing and drifitng snow is a possibility in the higher mountain passes. A winter storm warning was issued this morning for central and northwest mountains where up to two feet of snow is forecast.
The Denver forecast includes snow accumulation of up to four inches by Sunday morning.
