ASPEN, Colo.—A former employee of a ski-vacation booking agency has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of hacking into the agency’s computers and destroying or altering data.

James M. DiBlasio was indicted on two counts of unlawful access to a protected computer and eight counts of intentional damage to protected computer.

DiBlasio, who now lives in Indiana, did not have a listed phone number.

The indictment was handed up Thursday. It accuses DiBlasio of deleting airline reservations and other data from Ski.com’s servers, altering contact information used in communication between Ski.com and airlines and altering the profile Ski.com sends to airlines.

DiBlasio was a sales representative for Ski.com from September 2004 to November 2006. He is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate in Denver on Nov. 9.
