A Colorado-based private jet company that operates out of Centennial Airport has paused flights for at least a month, and one private aviation expert warns that millions of dollars in prepaid flights could go unused.
One Flight International, a charter broker that sells private flights to clients and then arranges those flights with pilots, has paused “all flight activity” for at least 30 days, or until further notice, as .
The company is conducting “a comprehensive evaluation of our current operations and status,” a reads.
Doug Gollan, who about the pause, said customers had already paid the company more than $150 million for future flights as part of the company’s jet card program. Gollan is a newsletter editor for , a company that sells a “buyer’s guide to private aviation services,” according to its website.
One Flight’s Facebook and Instagram accounts appear to have been deleted, and phone calls to the company’s phone went unanswered Friday.
The company’s chief operating executive, Ferren Rajput, could not immediately be reached for comment Friday morning.
Johannes Uys, listed as the chief financial officer on the company’s website as recently as May, is in immigration detention in Aurora. Uys was arrested in July on domestic violence-related charges, court records show.
It is not clear when Uys was detained or whether he was still working for One Flight International. Uys joined the company in 2023, after moving from Africa to Colorado, according to a .
