High school sport: Softball (pitcher, 2007 most valuable player of the Class 5A state tournament while leading the Lightning to the state championship) and basketball (forward).

Grade-point average: 3.5.

Class: Sophomore.

My favorite subject: Mathematics, I like finding an exact number to a problem.

My favorite athletes: Pitchers Cat Osterman, Jenny Finch and Monica Abbott.

My favorite team: USA Olympic softball team.

What I listen to: Country and R&B.

The best thing on my training table: Prime rib.

Pregame ritual: I have to do my hair the same way. I am superstitious, but not overly superstitious.

Time management tip: I have practice after school, so I do my homework at night and take advantage of off periods during the day. I’m always in the library.

Planned career: I want to play softball at a D-I school and go into sports medicine.

My family: Parents Nancy and Jerry, brother Bryce.

I would love to visit: Hawaii.
