Officials are searching for a hit-and-run driver who ran a red light and crashed his truck into a car, seriously injuring a 45-year-old Littleton woman.

Suzanne Fey-Gaiser, was driving a red 2000 Dodge Intrepid north on South Webster Street when she was broadsided by a black or gray pickup that may have been a Ford F-150, the Colorado State Patrol said.

Fey-Gaiser suffered broken ribs and other internal injuries and remains hospitalized.

She said the suspect stopped, asked her whether she was “all right” and then drove south on Webster.

The truck was damaged in the front. A witness said the first three letters of the pickup’s license plate were HTM.

The driver of the pickup is described as about 6-foot-2 and weighing about 190 pounds. He had wavy brown hair that came down over his ears. A brown dog was in the bed of the truck.
