Jose Theodore will be back as the starting goalie Thursday night when the Avalanche hosts Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Avalanche coach Joel Quenneville made the announcement after practice this morning, saying, “Jose has played well of late, as has Peter Budaj.”
Theodore’s last start, Friday in Calgary, resulted in a 39-save overtime victory over the Flames.
