Denver residents awoke to chilly temperatures today in the 30s and can expect cooler temperatures throughout the day.

But by Sunday residents can look forward to balmy weather when they set their clocks back by one hour, said Jim Kalina, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Temperatures could reach 74 degrees and it is expected to be a sunny day along the Front Range with wind gusts reaching 25 mph, Kalina said.

At 2 a.m. on Sunday, clocks are set back one hour to 1 a.m., or local standard time.
