For a time there it looked like the Central City Opera Guild’s signature fund-raiser, L’Esprit de Noel, was going to be in big trouble sponsorship-wise. As in, more of them were needed.
A feather or two was ruffled when we said so in print (“That kind of information is NOT for public consumption,” one member declared via e-mail) but the column that I wrote apparently did some good because at a guild luncheon held the other day at Prime 121, it was announced that everything’s cool and the three-day home tour and holiday boutique is going to be well-supported.
Perry & Co. was the first to sign on, reprising its role as Presenting Sponsor. Cherry Hills Village is the Host Sponsor; Stevinson Imports came in as the Gold Sponsor while Mercedes-Benz of Westminster and Whole Foods Tamarac stepped up as Sterling Silver Sponsors. Bronze Sponsors are Robert Lucker of Charles Schwab, the Rickert State Farm Agency, Security Title and Wells Fargo Private Mortgage Banking. Denver Newspaper Agency is the Media Sponsor.
L’Esprit de Noel’s patron preview is on Nov. 15, with five homes in Old Cherry Hills open for public tours on Nov. 16, 17 and 18. Each will feature lavish holiday and table-top decor by such firms as Plum Gallery, Pottery Barn, Ramah Flower Co., Compleat Gourmet & Gifts, Flower Power, Vario, Side Effects, Heritage Floral and The Lark. Tickets are $18 advance or $20 at the door. Call 303-292-6700 or visit .
