DENVER—Gov. Bill Ritter leaves for Canada next week on an economic-development visit to Calgary, Toronto and Edmonton.
Ritter says he will focus on energy and bioscience industries.

Overall, trade between Colorado and Canada amounted to nearly $3.5 billion in 2006.
Ritter’s office says Colorado-Canada trade supported 93,000 jobs in the state last year.
