The Adams County Sheriff’s Office today put out a call for help in identifying the suspects in a home-invasion robbery that left a man injured.
The break-in happened Thursday evening, when two armed men barged into a house in the 8600 block of East 105th Court, Adams County Sheriff’s Sgt. Candi Baker said. The men demanded items from the male resident inside, then beat him with their handguns. At least one shot was fired during the course of the assault, but no one was hit, Baker said.
The suspects then left the house with some items. The victim suffered minor injuries. A 2-year-old boy also was in the house at the time and was not injured, Baker said.
The two suspects are described as being 6 feet tall and 5 feet 8 inches tall, respectively. Both wore white long-sleeved shirts, and one wore a black stocking cap. Baker said other suspects and a getaway car may have been involved.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 720-322-1313.
