Littleton students take on planning
Littleton High School students were the first in Colorado to participate in UrbanPlan, a role-playing project-based program developed by the Washington, D.C.-based Urban Land Institute.
The program provides hands-on learning about the workings of local government, business, finance and urban planning.
Each week, business leaders meet with the students to review their plans and answer questions.
At the end of November, a panel of ULI members will review the plans and models created by student groups and award a “contract” to one “development” team.
