Carson Drive, for a nature hike to meet a fur trapper from the 1830s, join his crew to set up camp along the river and watch for the beaver he’s after; children under 16 must be accompanied by registered adult; $9 adults, $7 youth, $25 family (district rates: $6 adults, $5 youth, $17 family); 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

    Brighton’s 23rd annual Turkey Trot; Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave.; family oriented 5K race; $25 (ages 16-54), $17 (ages 15 and younger, ages 55 and older); 8:30 a.m.
